Sunflower bottle

An original creation in preserved flowers. A bottle, a preserved sunflower head, pandanus leaves, a birch bark … and 20 minutes later you will have created a floral composition with summer and country airs!

 

EQUIPMENT


To make this Do It Yourself, you need :
– 1 preserved sunflower
– 1 birch bark
– Raffia
– Floral stem wire
– Spool wire
– Floral adhesive
– Cardboard
– A cookie cutter (diameter 7-8cm)
– Floral foam
– A bottle
– Some tools
In option :
– Pandanus leaves or bear grass
– Stem wrap tape


1 / Using a cookie cutter, cut a circle of cardboard, a circle of foam and a circle of birch bark.


2 / Insert 2 wires of technical iron into the recesses of the carton and cut them. Fold the ends of the thread on the neck of the bottle and then florataper (optional).


3 / Ligate the wires on the neck of the bottle using raffia, and end up with a tie.


4 / Cut a strip of birch bark from the thickness of the foam and fix it with the brass wire.


5 / Glue the foam circle to the cardboard.


6 / Pierce the center of the circle of birch bark with a wooden spin, and stick it on the foam circle. Prick the flower in the hole.
TIP: Make a hole the same width as the stem of the flower!


7 / Option: Add bands of pandanus or beargrass to create volume.
