Flowery tattoos that are larger than life

This nature-loving Ukrainian artist goes by the nickname “Rit Kit”. She creates unique tattoos from plant prints. Unlike traditional tattooing techniques, she does not use a pre-made model.

Her process for creating floral tattoos

She transforms plants found in nature into stencils. Once the plant has been selected, the process is very simple: simply coat the plant in carbon ink, place it on the skin, then remove it, and finally go over the ink again with a dermograph to obtain the final result.

Colours don’t transfer, so Rita copies the colours and shadows of plants. What could be better than using a real plant to get a real piece of nature on your skin? The result is nothing short of breathtaking!
