It shines shines shines this end of year creation. A golden triangle base, sparkles: a reminder that it’s almost New Year’s Eve. A Christmas bauble and pine cones because it’s always the holidays after all!

EQUIPMENT

To make this Do It Yourself, you need :
– A triangular container
– A stabilized champagne rose head
– A dozen equisetum stems
– Decorative ribbon
– A Christmas ball
– 2 pine cones
– Floral foam
– Technical wire
– Brass wire
– 1 flower holder
– Hot glue

1 / Foam the container without exceeding the neck of the vase.

2 / Cut out a triangle the size of the vase out of the piece of cardboard.

3 / Cut a hole in the centre of the cardboard, the same diameter as the flower holder.

4 / Using the floral glue and the riders, secure the cardboard triangle to the container.

5 / Cover the cardboard with pieces of deco tape. Cut off the edges that protrude from the structure.

6 / Stick the rose on the flower holder. After cutting its length, stick it into the foam.

7 / Make a brass ligature on the equisetum stems and break them at the intersections.

8 / In the cardboard cavities, insert the equisetum and fold it so as to create a graphic on the top of the structure.

9 / Stick the Christmas bauble in the foam, previously mounted on a stake. Self-lock the two pine cones on the equisetum.
