For this festive season, Lenaïc Peillon, the talented creator of Le Dahlia Noir, has created a magnificent Christmas wreath made of preserved flowers. A true tribute to the art of floral design, this creation combines elegance, craftsmanship and durability, for a result that will grace interiors throughout the month of December. This WORKS was crafted live during SecondFlor’s first webinar.

- 4 white rosebuds
- Straw wreath ø 40 cm

- Hot glue gun
How did Le Dahlia Noir make this stunning Christmas Wreath?
To make this wreath, Lenaïc Peillon first pinned the cedar branches (also known as thuya) to the structure of the wreath, all pointing in the same direction to create that characteristic fluid movement. He then used a glue gun to attach the flowers one by one, starting with the largest to ensure visual balance. He was careful never to glue the white flowers directly next to the red ones, creating a subtle, harmonious contrast that adds elegance to the wreath.
Unlike traditional wreaths, which lose their sparkle after a few weeks, the wreath that Lenaïc Peillon created live retains its beauty thanks to the use of preserved flowers. This innovative technique keeps the plants fresh and supple, making for a long-lasting, environmentally-friendly and maintenance-free decoration.
